So, I found this downstairs in our supermarket and decided to try it, and it is very good! I usually get this fresh at sahadis.com or Damascus Bread and Pastry Shop (both on Atlantic Ave in Brooklyn). I wasn’t expecting much from a canned version, but it is actually much better than I would have expected. Not quite as good as fresh, but pretty close.
